1.  A swath of freezing rain and sleet will produce hazardous travel in northern Georgia and from the central Carolinas to eastern Virginia.

2.  A swath of icy rain will lead to hazardous travel from northeast Texas across the Tennessee Valley and into central Virginia and North Carolina.

3.  Hazardous travel is expected from the Great Lakes across the northern Ohio Valley and into northern Pennsylvania and southern New York.

4.  Hazardous travel is likely during the morning, but roads should just be wet by afternoon.

5.  Strong winds and very cold air will produce hazardous travel conditions in the upper Middle West.
