1.  A computer that did a few basic things well and made it impossible to screw up and spend a whole day skulking around like a dope.

2.  Earlier this year, when I did a major computer upgrade, I decided to keep using my old memory chips.

4.  Since then, they have been training jobless and underemployed workers to do basic computer programming.

5.  When my computer is done with the data processing it makes another call on the Internet to Berkeley, uploads its results, and downloads a new work unit.

6.  With clerk Janalee Garwood doing the computer search, we quickly found one book on hand, and where others in the country could be located.
