1.   If those ceiling panels are fiber, they could smell like wet cardboard when wet.

2.   If you have cellulose insulation blown in anywhere, if it gets wet it could smell like wet cardboard.

3.   Remember that expensive Bordeaux you sent back last year because it tasted a bit like wet cardboard?

4.   When a wine has been contaminated with TCA from a cork, it smells and tastes dank and moldy, just like wet cardboard.
