1.   And, to avoid burning yourself or your furnishings, do not move a candle container while the wax is still liquid.

2.   Besides waterproofing and keeping the ear canal clean by catching dust particles, the wax is acidic enough to prevent the growth of bacteria.

3.   A polyurethane floor with a worn finish can be lightly sanded then revarnished, provided there is no wax.

4.   Excess ear wax is removable, for example, while infections can be treated with antibiotics.

5.   Hot wax is most unpleasant.

6.   If the wax is excessive, you can scrape some of it up with a scraper.

7.   If there is wax on the slate, you have to remove the wax, and that is done with paint thinner.

8.   If there is wax present, it will fail quickly.

9.   Paste wax is the most durable.

10.   Paste wax is more durable than liquid wax, but it is also more difficult to apply.
