1.   It is under no obligation to extradite the two suspects.

2.   Tape recordings of alleged conversations between the two suspects are unlikely to incriminate them.

3.   The four suspects claimed they had been set up by the police.

4.   The Libyan representative at the ICJ was quoted on the same day as saying that the two suspects would remain in Libya at the disposal of the Arab League.

5.   Although the records do not show who placed the telephone calls, prosecutors contend that they are significant because they link the two suspects.

6.   Among the other suspects were explosion, fire, engine failure and so on.

7.   And Britain announced recently that it was resuming normal relations with Libya now that the two suspects are to face trial.

8.   And when it dawned on them that they were the targets of a citywide search, the two suspects did not flee the state.

9.   At that point the seven suspects were bound over and taken through an internal passageway to a holding pen in the bowels of the court complex to await arraignment.

10.   Attorneys for the two suspects declined to comment Thursday.
