1.   For the next eight summers, Ingstad and his wife, now deceased, and an international team of archaeologists excavated the site.

2.   During the next few days, the team will fully excavate the embankment.

3.   His team also excavates at the ancient port city of Ashkelon in southern Israel.

4.   Evidence from the site and others the team will excavate over the summer are to be submitted to the ICTY for their intended prosecution of indicted war criminals.
