3.   The Yomiuri Shimbun daily said that police had reconstructed the preparations for the subway atrocity, as well as the operational details of the attack itself.

4.   The assailant is being hunted by police who investigated possible connections between the assassination attempt and the subway atrocity widely linked to the mysterious doomsday cult Aum Supreme Truth.
