1.   Since all states already treat this income as subject to state taxation, the decision essentially reaffirmed the status quo.

2.   State taxation of pension and retirement money is often overlooked because on a federal level, taxes are generally levied on all retirement withdrawals.

3.   The subcommittee has jurisdiction on everything from bankruptcy and commercial law to federal debt collection, interstate compacts, state taxation affecting interstate commerce and regulatory reform.

4.   The report said the finance ministry and the state taxation administration recently issued a circular announcing that taxes would not be levied on income from stock transfer this year.
