1.   Lyndall Sachs of the Belgrade office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees said it was hoped that another convoy could be sent in as early as today.

2.   As the war continued, the Yugoslav army openly supported the Bosnian Serbs, sending convoys of trucks and oil tankers across the border.

3.   Most private aid groups stopped sending food convoys, although the deliveries are slowly resuming now.

4.   The government reportedly expects to send another convoy on Saturday.

5.   Aid agencies sent a convoy of trucks carrying food and medicine into the city of Jenin.

6.   Both the Red Cross and the United Nations sent convoys from the central Asian states of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

7.   Both the Red Cross and United Nations said they will continue to send aid convoys, but there is no guarantee when they will arrive.

8.   But they failed to respond to a request by UNHCR to send a convoy on Tuesday.

9.   Heavy fighting in the Bihac enclave of northwest Bosnia and intransigence by besieging forces have prevented the U.N. aid agency from sending regular convoys to civilians.

10.   It has also been one of the largest per capita donor of humanitarian aid, sending convoys to Albania, Macedonia and also into Belgrade and Pristina.
