1. A ridge of high pressure from Quebec to the Carolinas will promote dry and seasonably mild weather over much of the East. 2. A seasonably mild afternoon will prevail across the Northeast, though cumulus clouds building over mountains will produce spotty showers that will keep conditions cooler in some areas. 3. After a chilly morning, the afternoon will be seasonably mild over the region. 4. Clouds will persist along the California shoreline, but the deserts of the Southwest will see sunshine with seasonably mild air. 5. Elsewhere, the Northwest will be partly sunny and seasonably mild. 6. Farther south, it will remain seasonably mild in the Southwest as high pressure promotes mostly sunny skies. 7. Fog will be common in the valleys of the central Appalachians, but sunshine will dominate much of the Middle Atlantic region, with seasonably mild readings. 8. High pressure stretching from the Ohio Valley to the upper Great Lakes will sponsor mainly sunny skies and seasonably mild conditions in most of the Mississippi Valley. 9. In the wake of the front, the northern Rockies will be seasonably mild with a mixture of sunshine, clouds and some mountain showers. 10. It will be seasonably mild in the northern Rockies with winds too light to dissipate some valley fog. |
