1.   EVERYONE remembers those school trip tragedies which have claimed the lives of youngsters far from home.

2.   By pulling the episode, they acknowledged, however slightly or inadvertently, that there might be a relationship between their show and the school tragedies.

3.   In fact, in at least two of the other recent school tragedies, the shooters were less successful younger brothers of popular siblings.

4.   They saw each other infrequently over the years and on those occasions, the school tragedy was never discussed.

5.   Maybe there would be less need for soul-searching after yet another school tragedy.
