1. Eating less meat, which has a high salt content, meant that they needed to supplement their salt intake. 2. In order to cut down on salt intake, first remove salt containers from the table. 3. There is some evidence that salt is bad and many people have cut salt intake in recent years. 4. All, perhaps, the result of exercise, a lower-carbohydrate diet and low salt intake. 5.
