1.   All the low-profile vents allow ridge shingles to be nailed right on top of them, making them almost invisible.

2.   Can I reuse the ridge shingles that I have to take off in order to install the ridge vent?

3.   If so, tuck the strip under the row of shingles just below the ridge shingles.

4.   Then the ridge vent is installed over these openings, and new ridge shingles nailed over the vent, making it virtually invisible.
