1.   This method provides a means of obtaining DNA Markers distributed along the length of a specific restriction fragment.

2.   Four EcoRI restriction fragments were observed among the genotypes, of which two were polymorphic by Southern analysis for PGC.

3.   Five EcoRI restriction fragments are detected among phenotypes.

4.   In contrast, four EcoRI restriction fragments were observed in the present study, and we did not detect any RFLPs for PGA in Japanese populations by EcoRI digestion.
