1.   Bitz said searchers recovered decomposed remains Saturday that investigators believe are household pets.

2.   No information about the nature or amount of recovered human remains, which will undergo DNA testing, was disclosed by the NTSB or the state medical examiner.

3.   The US military and CIA agents recovered human remains and other materials from the site and are trying to determine the identities of the victims.
