1.   All the ingredients were pureed, and bits of mussels were added last.

2.   In a blender or food processor, puree all ingredients with salt and pepper to taste until smooth.

3.   In my next attempt, I pureed the ingredients in a food processor and then patted them onto the meat.

4.   In food processor or blender, puree all ingredients until smooth.

5.   To make sauce, puree all ingredients except oil with salt to taste.

6.   Transfer pureed ingredients to bowl of mixer.

7.   Using a blender, puree remaining ingredients until smooth.

8.   When ready to serve, puree sauce ingredients together and pour over each frozen slice of the torte.
