1.   Both were made with the same filling of blue cornmeal and a little sugar, mixed in tubs with hot water to the proper consistency.

2.   Combine with rest of sauce ingredients, bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for an hour or until proper consistency.

3.   Gradually add powdered sugar, also adding a little water to make the proper consistency.

4.   If the dough appears too soft or slack, add additional bread flour in one-teaspoon increments to achieve the proper consistency.

5.   If you need more liquid to achieve the proper consistency, use boiling water.

6.   If the jam is too thick, stir in water a tablespoon at a time until you have reached the proper consistency.

7.   If the dough appears too dry or stiff, add more liquid in one-teaspoon increments to achieve the proper consistency.

8.   When mixture is almost of spreading consistency, add nuts and continue beating by hand until mixture is proper consistency.
