1.   At the elite level, pole vaulting suffers from anemic marketing by the U.S. Track and Field Federation.

9.   The lawsuit seeks an injunction requiring the state to sanction pole vaulting for girls immediately so Kercado and other athletes can compete this spring in state championships.

10.   The school has suspended pole vaulting and plans to resume only after moving the vaulting site and using a larger landing pad than is currently required.
