7.   And Bell Atlantic Corp. and Nynex Corp. are pooling their cellular operations into a single network running from Maine to North Carolina.

8.   And in June Bell Atlantic and Nynex announced plans to to merge their cellular telephone operations into a single business.

9.   AOL Time Warner has proposed spinning off the combined cable operation into a publicly traded unit.

10.   Bartels also indicated that the shake-up may be a precursor to the spin-off of Coles operations into separately-traded public companies.
