1.   Add half of the Sauvignon Blanc and continue to cook until the onions turn a deep brown color, stirring regularly once the onions start to color.

2.   Add onion and saute over medium heat until onion starts to turn translucent.

3.   Cook over medium-high heat until onions start to brown.

4.   When the onions start to stick on the edges, add the rest of the wine to the pan and boil until the onions caramelize and the liquid evaporates.
