1.   Gently push the GFCI into the junction box, secure the mounting screws, then replace the cover.

2.   Gently push the wires and the switch back into the junction box and fasten the mounting screws.

3.   If it is loose, try to tighten the mounting screws.

4.   It is better to drive the mounting screw directly into a joist.

5.   Remove the outlet cover plate, then loosen the mounting screws that hold the receptacle in place.

6.   Sold in home centers and lumber yards, these plastic or rubber spacers slip over the mounting screws after they are pushed through the holes in the hardboard.

7.   Switches are fastened to junction boxes by two mounting screws, one at the top and the other at the bottom of the mounting strap.

8.   The button is secured in place with two mounting screws.

9.   The switch is secured to the junction box with two mounting screws.

10.   With the mechanism cleaned and lubricated, return it to the case and replace the mounting screws.
