1. Always rinse rice throughly first by putting it in a fine mesh sieve under cool running water until the water runs clear. 2. Pass the mixture through a chinois or other fine mesh sieve. 3. Pass through a large mesh sieve, and set aside. 4. Pour butter through a fine mesh sieve into a measuring cup. 5. Put a mesh sieve over a glass measuring cup and place next to the stove. 6. Put the raspberries in mesh sieve and push them through with a wooden spoon. 7. Puree the soup in a food mill, discarding skins, or puree in a food processor or blender then strain through a fine mesh sieve. 8. Set a mesh sieve over a bowl, strain and press to extract liquid. 9. Strain through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl. 10. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or several layers of cheesecloth. |
