1.   Arrangements are pending, but are expected to include burial in Virginia and eventual erection of a memorial monument in the Texas State Cemetery in Austin.

2.   Howard will join the opening ceremony of a memorial monument in Kanchanaburi province, constructed in memory of Australian soldiers who died during World War II.
