1.   Arthur Hogan, head of equity trading at Dean Witter Reynolds Inc., said traders were generally enthusiastic about the positive market tone of the last two sessions.

2.   In addition, the worldwide market tone for technology stocks has not been very positive in recent months.

3.   The market tone was positive, cheered by buy orders through foreign brokerages, they said.
