1.   Considerable global assets have been spent to prevent non-communicable diseases - for example, with major investments to improve the environment.

2.   Electrification continued apace during the Decade with the major investment on the East Coast main line and in East Anglia.

3.   In many of the large public sector industries, major investments in ReD are a relatively new phenomenon.

4.   It would have required a major financial investment, with some risk, that few companies would be willing to make.

5.   That is why the Government are committed to an expanded roads programme and continuing major investment in our transport infrastructure.

6.   We recognize and respect the family as the major investment institution that it is.
