1.   You can actually see the lava dome inside the crater.

2.   A fissure opened in the eastern flank of the lava dome, which was collapsing, the observatory reported.

3.   A new lava dome appears to be growing atop the volcano on the Caribbean island of Montserrat, indicating a pattern of continued activity, a scientist said Friday.

4.   It was concerned about an increase in seismic activity last week, including two growing lava domes inside the volcano.
