1. Place baking dish in a larger baking pan, set pan on oven rack. 2. Add water to a pan larger than the steamer basket and bring to a slight simmer. 3. Carefully pour boiling water into the larger pan until it comes half way up the sides of the smaller pan that holds the custard. 4. Cover the pan tightly with foil and place in a larger baking pan. 5. Cover with foil and place in a larger pan filled halfway with very hot water. 6. Fill the larger pan with boiling water to come up about halfway on the smaller pan. 7. If you do not have a warm spot, put the pan in a larger pan of hot water or set it over a pot of simmering water. 8. It is easiest to put the cake pan into the larger pan first, set on the oven rack and slide in. 9. Place in a larger pan and pour in boiling water to come halfway up the sides of the custard pan. 10. Place pan in a larger pan that has been half-filled with hot water. |
