1.   Four different tapes were made, two for the judgment phase, two for the recognition phase.

2.   Fifteen of the films, the targets, were exactly the same pieces of film that had been shown in the judgment phase.

3.   There were two phases to the experiment, a description phase and then a judgment phase.

4.   Both groups performed the same task in the judgment phase, this involved watching the same films in their entirety.
