1.   Tarrant County experienced part of that rebuilding in April, when Santa Fe opened its intermodal hub at Alliance Airport in far north Fort Worth.

2.   The intermodal hub will use the main runway to transfer cargo between trains and trucks.

3.   They contend that the intermodal hub could make Kansas City a major player in international trade.

4.   Trains from Mexico would arrive at the intermodal hub, and the goods would be transported to trucks for delivery elsewhere.

5.   Voters in August approved a measure that will turn the airport into an intermodal hub.
