1.   An icy mixture is expected in patches across the eastern Gulf States with chilly showers falling on the coast.

2.   An icy mixture will accompany a complex winter storm in the East on Thursday.

3.   An icy mixture will fall in much of the Northeast on Thursday.

4.   An icy mixture will fall in parts of the interior Northeast Friday causing travel problems.

5.   An icy mixture will glaze part of eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin.

6.   An icy mixture will occur on the northwest periphery of the rain in Wisconsin.

7.   An icy mixture will fall in central and northern parts of New York and New England early Tuesday as low pressure races northeast along the Atlantic seaboard.

8.   An icy mixture will fall in parts of Tennessee and the western slopes of the southern Appalachians.

9.   As the storm strengthened later in the day, rising currents of air lowered temperatures at cloud level, changing the icy mixture to just snow.

10.   A period of rain is expected to become to an icy mixture before ending as snow from south-eastern Pennsylvania to interior southern New England.
