1.   It operates through the agencies of the different control systems such as the autonomic nervous system, hormonal system, immune system etc.

2.   Diabetes, weight gain, even aging seem to be regulated by the hormonal system.

3.   Obesity in humans is not dictated by the genes, but by imbalance in the hormonal regulatory system.

4.   Other researchers have also found changes in the biochemistry of humans abused in childhood, but in different neurochemical and hormonal systems that regulate reactions to stress.

5.   And though studies do not yet prove the pollution link, worries are rising that chemicals are wreaking havoc on human reproductive and other hormonal systems.

6.   The Environmental Protection Agency outlined plans Monday to test thousands of chemicals to determine if they disrupt hormonal systems and lead to increases in cancer and infertility.
