1.   Last resort is to use a large hole saw on a drill directly above the latch.

2.   The key to using a hole saw is keeping it level.

3.   Then clamp another piece of plywood behind the door so that it will keep the door from splintering on the back side when the hole saw comes through.

4.   To install that lock you will have to use the hole saw to drill a hole through the door.
