1.   Cornell University also offers a large variety of short courses on specific themes, held during the summer session.

2.   The results of these, and other primaries held during June, included important political breakthroughs for women and black candidates.

3.   A number of short seminars were held during the year and these were well supported.

4.   TWO health and safety seminars were held during February for site managers and safety co-ordinators.

5.   Eight ceremonies are held during the year, six in July and two in November.

8.   The Association was pleased to contribute to the organisation of student seminars held during Hotel olympia week when top speakers gave an insight into their industry sectors.
