1.   Since these may be binary files or indexed files, the header file is created separately.

2.   When the module is entered into LIFESPAN, the files in the FOREIGN-SET are held with the module header file and are treated as a single module.

3.   It allows a separate header text file to point to the file or files to be stored.

4.   However, in terms of LIFESPAN modules, a FOREIGN module can be considered to comprise a header text file and its constituent foreign files.
