1.   U.S. hackers have defaced the Web sites of several local governments in China as well as the site of China Telecom.

2.   Earlier, a flood of access requests forced the FBI to shut down its site, and other hackers defaced the U.S. Senate site.

3.   On Monday, hackers defaced Web sites for the Interior Department and a federal supercomputer laboratory in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

4.   The hackers also defaced Israeli Web sites late last year.
