1.   British Columbia MP Gary Lunn announced Wednesday he is supporting Ontario government whip Frank Klees as the head of the new political coalition.

2.   Deputy chief government whip Charoen Khanthawong said the whips were yet to agree on appropriate penalties for absentees.

3.   Government whip Charoen Kanthawong, however, disagreed reasoning that adding that phrase would be against international practice.

4.   Government chief whip Jurin Laksanavisit said Tuesday he believed the IMF would understand if the government failed to do so despite its efforts.

5.   Government whip Surasit Nitiwuthworarak said other government whips had agreed not to set up a joint parliamentary panel to vet the revised version.

6.   Jurin, who is chief government whip, was commenting on a threat by the opposition to file a no-confidence motion against the administration.

7.   Marsden flouted party discipline by giving his side of a meeting last week with the government chief whip in the House of Commons, Hilary Armstrong.

8.   Sanan insisted that the government whips should not be held responsible for the incident.

9.   The bill has been approved by the Cabinet and is now being studied by a committee of government whips.

10.   THE coalition coordinating committee Monday resolved to back the five executive decrees when they are deliberated by the House on Wednesday, the chief government whip said.
