5.   Isolated showers will pepper the peninsula as a weak cool front crosses the state.

6.   Isolated potent thunderstorms will ignite across southern Texas and the lower Tennessee Valley as a weak cool front crosses the region.

7.   The front will cross the Deep South with little more than patchy cloudiness and the odd thundershower.
