1.   To avoid the creation of extra synonyms, the file has to be loaded in two passes.

2.   This is simple to create, but makes the retrieval of any particular record slow as the file has to be searched until the required record is found.

3.   Large files will have a number of inverted indexes.

4.   The inverted file will have an index which points to lists of certain types of record.

5.   Each file has a unique name by which it is accessed.

6.   In some programs files have to be inverted overnight and this requires the microcomputer to be switched on over a long period of time.

9.   Before you go deleting any fonts, though, choose the Details view and make sure the two files have the same file sizes and dates.
