1. Cool the drippings, then freeze them so the fat will rise to the top and harden. 2. In a few hours or the next day, the fat will rise to the top and get hard. 3. Put a paper towel right on top of the soup and all the fat will rise into the paper towel. 4. Since fat rises to the top, when liquids are poured out of the cup through the bottom spout, the fat remains and can be discarded. 5. The fat will rise to the top and can be lifted off. |
