1.   Contractors are not entitled to paid vacation time.

2.   The ICE Conditions of Contract entitle the contractor to an extension of time if any of a number of specified events delays the works.

3.   It does not entitle the contractor to additional money.

4.   However, events which entitle the contractor to an extension of time may also entitle the contractor to recover extra costs.
