1.   A spokesman for the Cypriot embassy said the luggage had been misplaced as the result of a misunderstanding, Interfax said.

2.   Serezis denied a report published Tuesday in the Tehran daily Jumhuri Islami claiming that there was a bomb explosion outside the Cypriot embassy as Kyprianou was arriving there.

3.   Both the Cypriot embassy and the Greek consulate have been burgled, most likely over the weekend, said diplomatic and police sources Tuesday.

4.   Clerides, accompanied by Foreign Minister Alecos Michaelides, will open the first Cypriot embassy in Israel in Tel Aviv Tuesday.

5.   Police said the thieves used duplicate keys to get in to the Cypriot embassy, stealing several hundred francs.
