1.   That lock consists of a cylinder, a cylinder guard, a bolt and a thumb turn.

2.   The cylinder guard is a hardened steel plate with a clearance hole for the key.

3.   The cylinder guard, a tapered rotating ring, covers the cylinder and makes it almost impossible to grip or turn it.

4.   This lock does not come with a cylinder guard, but a locksmith or hardware store would have one.
