1.   Aboard the three-person Solings, crews rotate positions after every race so everyone has a chance to steer, trim sails and help with the tactics.

2.   Crews have been rotating regularly to the embattled region.

3.   Six-member crews rotate in and out from June through August.

4.   The ceremony, based on the traditions of the high seas, is the customary one held each time a crew rotates.
