1.   The last two subjects are what they call core subjects which you have to take.

2.   The core subjects are English, mathematics and science.

3.   The core subjects -- management, accountancy, law and economics -- are pivotal to a successful career in any financial services area.

4.   And teachers are being taught to blend the arts into core subjects such as English, science, history and math.
