1.   In reality, the real chunks of tickets go to boosters.

2.   Much of the investment went to the mining and oil industries, while another sizable chunk went to companies that assemble goods for exports, principally in Central America.

3.   Most of the money went to the states, but a chunk of it went into the pockets of a small group of law firms.

4.   Of the remaining funds, larger chunks go to Queens, which desperately needs facilities, and to Staten Island, where the need is far less urgent.

5.   Other chunks go to things like organizing new workplaces, lobbying and political campaigning.

6.   There goes another chunk out of the wall.
