1.   Bulbs need rich, well-drained soil.

2.   Confused about which bulbs need to be chilled before forcing?

3.   Plug in lights before putting them on the tree so you can make sure they work and see which bulbs need replacing.

4.   This can be a mistake, though, because any bulb needs at least six weeks of growing after the last flower has faded.

5.   The fresh bulbs would need about three weeks to dry.
