1.   An additional attraction is that the Shetucket is one of two rivers in the state in which the Atlantic Salmon Restoration Project releases its surplus brood stock.

2.   Clear Springs has its own brood stock, the fish that produce fertilized eggs.

3.   Particularly worrisome is a plunge in key brood stocks.

4.   They are the precious brood stock.

5.   To preserve the kelp bass, fishermen are encouraged to release the larger bass that represent the species brood stock.

6.   Brood stock that is transferred from these countries would be transplanted to suitable sites for acclimatisation and conditioning.
