1.   Garcia said in his opening statement that Yousef and Murad confessed to the agents about the conspiracy to bomb the airliners.

2.   He testified Monday that Yousef had admitted planning to bomb several airliners and that he had talked knowledgeably about making bombs.

3.   The nine-count indictment charges them with conspiring to bomb airliners, trying to carry out the attacks and carrying improvised bombs.
