2.   Anderson provides the adult narration, which mainly consists of biographical notes and some historical stage-setting.

3.   Biographical notes on major designers enlighten the reader, but alas, no prices are given.

4.   What Iain Thomson has assembled instead is a sometimes amateurish collection of biographical notes and project descriptions.
