5.   Although no heavy rainfall has been observed over the islands this morning, there is a good chance of thunderstorms with heavy rain this afternoon.

6.   As a result, the atmosphere over Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands will be capable of producing showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain this afternoon.

7.   Look for heavy rain this afternoon across much of the interior and western sections of Puerto Rico.

8.   Most of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands will receive rain this afternoon.
